⚠️🚨ELECTION NEWS

✨️ HEYY GLAM FAM! How yall doing? It's your one and only BloomBoss here with the electric election buzz! Eighth and ninth graders filled the auditorium. The nominees were sitting on chairs, anxious. As I probably mentioned earlier, my bestie was also a contestant. But guess what? She was ABSENT! On the most exciting and important day, you choose to be absent?! They called the nominees to open the ballot boxes. During the time, Mr. L was randomly talking and told the whole class that when he asked the others, they said they would vote for my bestie! I was elighted!

Soo we were the last class to reach the auditorium and their wasn't much space left, so few of my classmates and I sat on a few chairs in the corner. We could see the teachers counting the votes and we were captured in a lot of videos due to our higher elevation. The commentator (my amazing English teach) even said that we were "V.I.Ps" lol. Honestly, in my opinion it was some PEAK commentary. He really got everyone engaged and ask some questions to the audience and it was pretty nice. The vibes were captured and the suspense was "suspense-ing"!

Okay so now to make it clear, I'm going to shotly explain how the system works. You can skip to the next paragraph if you already know!

 So there are 5 rounds in total and each round they count 200 votes. Instead of just giving us the results, they make it dramatic. Not a sudden stab in the hearts of the runners but to make it more like poison, affecting them steadly. At the end, they calculate the total and declare the winners. 

When the crowd went silent, I kept on thinking how I could capture every detail for this blog of mine. (Dedicated ahh blogger). There was a lot of hype for the first round and everyone clapped for and the nominees. But eventually people got tired and were more getting more impatient by each round. Even though my hands were literally ACHING, I clapped for every contestant every SINGLE round and clapped a little harder for the ones I voted for. Things definitely went tipsy-topsy. 

It was quite clear who would win by the end of the fourth round. We were just waiting for an official announcement cause we ain't gonna calculate those votes. A lot of disheartened souls and long faces at the time. The commentator kept saying things will go "tipsy-turvy", just to keep them smiling but it was nothing like that.

Skip to results, no one I voted for won. 😭 And not gonna lie, none of the eight graders are worthy of their badges. But when they announced the results, the actual drama started. 

It may have been raining outside the auditorium but inside, nominees were making waterfalls of their own. As far as I know, three people cried. Eleanor's follower, the tiger and some teachers daughter. (And yes, this is how I identify them) Eleanor didn't win, she got last place with my bestie in second. My bestie got some huge fan following, just not as huge as the winner's. The teachers daughter was crying and I was like "bruh." My friend said that her mom would be jealous of the winner. Honestly I didn't talk to anyone because comforting people is really hard. I'd rather walk away lmao. A lot of commotion about the deputy head girl because apparently she cheated her way in. Her aunt talked to one of the teachers and got her selected. And the deputy head boy has a crush on the deputy head Girl but she already has a bf..(oof)  soo peeps be spreading rumours...

But after the principal announced the names they asked us to clapped for em and scream for em. At the start, the sound was pretty low but the principal was like," when you're given the chance to scream, use it." And that triggered something in me and despite loosing my voice the previous day, I screamed even louder. Everyone did. It was high pitch and LOUD. None of my friends screamed. I need more enthusiastic friends yall. And I lost my voice again. Haha it did come back but it's healing. 

Anyways that's all about the elections! Quite an event! Anyway, I may not be able to post till the 11th of August tho. Ill try to! Btw thanks for the drama spill😉.
